Title: Employer Engagement at Coventry University: A UK case study into creating valued placements for business students

Ash will provide attendees with detailed insight into employer engagement at Coventry University's (CU) Central London campus. His presentation will range from how CU develop partnerships with leading companies, broker placement opportunities and develop these in a way that maximises student achievement and skills acquisition. As part of his presentation Ash will highlight the significant numbers of international students studying at CU London and how Covid-19 has ushered in greater flexibility in the delivery of placement opportunities. This session will be of interest to ECBE members with responsibility for placement learning, quality assurance and lecturers and students with an interest work based learning.
