Title: Employer Engagement at Coventry University: A UK case study into creating valued placements for business students

Ash will provide attendees with detailed insight into employer engagement at the Coventry University London campus. His presentation will range from how the university develop partnerships with leading companies, broker internship opportunities and develop these in a way that maximises student achievement and skills acquisition. As part of his presentation Ash will highlight the significant numbers of international students studying at Coventry University London and how the university offers a flexible approach allowing as many students as possible the opportunity to undertake an accredited internship. This session will be of interest to ECBE members with responsibility for placement learning, quality assurance and lecturers and students with an interest in work-based learning.
