Director of Finance and Administration (DoFA)

The Board of Directors has appointed a Director of Finance and Administration according to the provisions of Article 21, and delegated the daily management of the Agency to him/her.
His/her tasks include, inter alea:

  • The daily management of the Agency;
  • Make sure all documents and procedures, needed for the daily management, are designed, kept available and, after ratification by the BoD, are applied;
  • Gather all documents for the accounting system, organize double bookkeeping, execute payments and do any reporting necessary for the BoD to take decisions on the financials of the Agency;
  • In close cooperation with the President: plan, organize and prepare all meetings of the Board of Directors;
  • In close cooperation with the Treasurer: make the financial reports for the BoD and the AGM;
  • Organize all legal task of the Agency, and help making Statutes, Bye-Laws, contracts, …;
  • Organize the Annual Conference (*) and any General Meeting;
  • Build ECBE's website, and keep it up-to-date;
  • Organize ECBE's SharePoint, and keeping the information up-to-date;
  • Execute all special tasks given to him/her by the BoD or the AGM.

 

(*) the academic part of the Annual Conference is organized by the Vice-President.

ENQA registration process

  • 14/05/2019: ECBE submits the application for EQAR registration
  • 15/04/2019: ENQA and ECBE agree on the full membership time-line; contract is signed
  • 14/01/2019: The General Meetings in Brussels approve the new Statutes
  • 27/12/2018: The BoD sends out answers on the questions and remarks from Members regarding the new Statutes
  • 04/12/2018: The BoD convokes the Special and Extraordinary General Meetings to discuss and agree upon the new Statutes
